Major issue that had to be solved:
The central terminal underwent a massive renovation closing off the entire dining area and blocking the view of the beautiful Pacific Northwest. SeaTac needed a construction enclosure that was functional and aesthetically pleasing. The airport team was unsure of what they wanted the wall to look like and needed a partner to help them with the entire project from design to completion.
Internal or External construction:
The period from engagement to completion:
SeaTac reached out to Boston Retail Solutions about 6 months prior to the construction start date to discuss potential design options. Our team met on site with the Airport leadership to walk the project, discuss the desired design intent and plan out the implementation of the phased construction barricade enclosure. The installation took X days to complete the wall and graphics with additional design elements like contour cut tops and dimensional letters.
Number of elements installed:
300 linear foot of modular barricade panels with 4,000 square feet of graphics.
Modular Barricade Panels, Large format vinyl graphics, ½” thick router cut PVC letters, HD Monitors.
High impact, themed design with bright and vibrant colors, interesting design elements, integrated wayfinding and digital signage. A flexible wall system that could be cleanly moved and adjusted as the phased construction progressed.
